Mechanism types
- Pull-out: the seat slides forward and the back folds down; simple and hard-wearing.

What to check
Measure the sofa both closed and open; open, it needs at least 200 cm of length. Try the mechanism several times: it should be smooth and quiet. If it will be slept on every night, choose a design with its own mattress. Models with a storage box under the seat also give you somewhere to keep bedding.
