Today's TV unit is more than a stand for the screen: it holds devices, books and décor, and plays a big part in keeping the living room tidy. A console and mirror, meanwhile, are the first things guests see when they come in.

Choosing a TV unit

• The unit should be at least 20 to 30 cm wider than the TV for good proportions.
• The right height puts the centre of the screen at seated eye level, about 100 to 110 cm from the floor.
• If you have lots of things, designs with drawers and closed doors keep the room tidier.
• Plan for cable routing and ventilation for your devices.

Consoles and mirrors

A console in the entrance or hallway holds keys, post and a vase, and a mirror above it makes the space feel larger and brighter. In our classic range, consoles and mirrors are carved and finished to match classic seating.
