London Three-Seat Chesterfield

The London Chesterfield is one of those sofas that grows more beautiful with time. The back and arms are hand-tufted: each button is drawn through the foam with strong thread and tied off behind the frame. The back of each sofa alone takes one of our craftsmen about a full day.

Rolled arms at the same height as the back create the familiar Chesterfield shape, and the edges are finished with matte brass studs. The upholstery is a thick, fabric-backed faux leather that does not crack, wipes clean with a damp cloth and is a more practical choice than fabric for homes with pets.

Where does the London belong?

• Modern living rooms that want one statement piece
• Studies, clinics and executive offices
• Beside bookcases and dark-wood interiors

Honey brown is the most classic choice and takes on a handsome, well-worn look over time. To build a full set, see the Club Chesterfield armchair in the same family.
