Description
Before Malayer became known as Iran's furniture capital, it was a town of carpenters and woodcarvers. Our rocking chair pays tribute to that tradition: every part is cut from Iranian walnut, finished by hand and joined with mortise-and-tenon joints.
The curve of the rockers is calculated for a calm, even motion that won't tip the chair backwards. The spindle back leans slightly back, and the fabric seat and back cushions tie on and come off for washing.
